I'm doing an opinion paper on Otto Von Bismarck for my Advanced Placement European History class. To be completely honest.. I don't have an opinion on Bismarck.
So..
This question is specifically directed to those who are knowledgeable in European history--specifically German History.
What were the pros and cons of Bismarck's policies and/or actions. And in your opinion was Bismarck a negative figure, or a positive one?

Sounds like you don't have an opinion on Bismarck because you don't know anything about him. Have you tried putting his name in a search engine and getting some solid information on him?
