Any help please...ive got to remove my harddrive from my laptop in order to ship it to dell. Can I use aluminum foil? Ziploc bags?

Sorry for the confusion....the bag is to keep the harddrive in. The harddrive remains with me. The laptop goes to dell. They told me not to send my harddrive with my laptop but rather keep it here and only in an antistatic bag.

No, get some Bubble Wrap, wrap it, tape it, then pack it in peanut shells ( the styrofoam one's ) and box it, ship it. Good Luck

Any makeshift bag that you put it in will probably void your warranty from dell.

Just go down to your local computer shop and ask if you can have one. They will have plenty.
