UofP is still frowned upon at my company, however; I do believe for-profit education is begining to gain credibility. My advice is to get your CPA and no one will care where your undergrad is from. Check with your state to make sure that UofP counts toward the CPA requirements. In my state Devry does not count, not sure about UofP. Best of luck

I hope so because I am getting my degree in Accounting from University of Phoenix!

I hope so too, because I am going there for my degree in accounting. My sister went online for her master's in teaching, and her employer accepted it.

I do think that as time goes by, online degrees will be more commonly accepted by employers. This concept is still new, so many do not think that it is a good idea.
