whenever I eat fresh pineapple or tomatoes my mouth starts to bleed and these sores pop out on the inside of my cheeks and they bleed. My mouth turns numb. It goes away after like 10 minuets.

It may not be an allergic reaction.

Pineapples and tomatoes, as well as citrus fruits, are both high in citric acid. Many people have the reaction as you describe, but it is self limiting. As long as you do not have a rash or swelling, it is not likely an allergic reaction. Just limit the amount you eat.

You maybe or it might just be an intolerance to those foods. To be sure you would have to have a test at your doctors. I have an allergy to a medicine and that made my lips and eyes swell and brought me out in hives for 5 days even though I took an antihistamine once it started. I felt sick, had diarrhea and a terrible headache for all that time. Having said that people react differently.

If you are concerned you are allergic you shouldn't eat these foods until you are sure you aren't as the next time you could have an anaphylactic reaction where you throat (and face etc)swells, you can't breath and you could die if not treated quickly.

Whether you are actually allergic or not they don't sound like nice symptoms so I would avoid them anyway!

Hope that helps.

It seems like u are/and/or they don't agree with you, as both
contain allot of acid. If I were to eat from a real pineapple my tongue would go numb and the tip of it, for days. I guess we
just can't it certain kinds of acid foods. I'm ok with oranges &
other stuff, but I have a Hyadis Hernia in my stomach and have been taking these horse pills for years. Maybe you have a Hernia in r tummy r not aware of. You might want to have it looked at by a Gasternologist, that's who discoverd mine?
I really hope it's not a Hernia you have! Pains at times.
