I'm the same way. Reason: to teach them that nagging doesn't work. Because if they nag at me and I do what they say - they will know that nagging works and will definitely do it again.

Nagging makes me very much less likely to do it!

Less and a HALF! I'm such a rebel, b/c I'm so good about the real laws and rules.
Kinda like how people will pull out the parking spot in about 25 seconds with no waiting for their spot, but about 45 seconds if someone is.
Dude, I swear, i may not be able to quote it, but it was real social psych experiment that found this out.

Less likely. I hate to be nagged about something.

It depends on if it's something I actually have to do, or something someone else wants me to do to make things easier for them. If it's something I have to do and am just procrastinating on, then I appreciate the nag and will get off my butt and do it. If it's the other way around, I wait a lot longer, or just don't do it.

Unless it's my wife, in which case I do it as I'm married and it's in the contract. Small print.
(Just kidding, I actually like to help her. :) )

The more they nag me, the less I want to do it, because it's like telling them, "Go ahead, when you need me to do something just nag me to death." Dangerous sort of invitation, wouldn't you say?

As soon as the nagging starts, I stop.

It makes me less likely. Even if I know they're right. For instance, my mum kept telling me when I was a teenager to go and get my license and I didn't get it until I was 26. Partly because I was a bit of a chicken, partly out of stubbornness.

Whenever someone nags me, I usually end up doing what they want, just so they'll leave me alone.
