Sneaking out to do it is not the way to convince your mom that you are responsible enough to have piercings. When (not if, when) she finds out you went behind your back to do it you're going to have bigger problems than just the fact that she'll likely make you take it out.

If it's something you really want to do I'd recommend researching piercing places (don't go to the mall, go to a real piercer, safer, less prone to infection, better after care instructions and cooler jewelry), you can check www.yelp.com for some great user reviews of places near you. Do you homework, find a place that's clean, has a good reputation, then talk with your mom about it, see if you can get her to set terms, such as "if your GPA is at least this high, then you can get your ears pierced".

Worst case, if she doesn't let you, you'll know exactly where you want to go on your 18th birthday. Piercings are awesome, good luck!

Go on ebay. They sell ear piercing kits cheap. Look for Self peircing kit which come with medical grade gold earrings. When you pierce your ears, is safer to use medical grade metal earrings not cheap kind until the cut heals. But if you really have to hide it, you can use a clear plastic retainer in your ears instead of an earring or really tiny small earrings.

So find a way to get a self piercing kit and the right earrings.

Then just sneak and do it... But be careful cuz u can get an infection. Be sure u have alchohol on hand. And read the instructions (if any) on the kit.

I bet once you've had your ears done your Mom will be mad at you but well, I'd just do i anyway. Or you can try to hide it a plastic retainer or really, really small earrings while you cover ur ears with your hair.

Go for it!! Good luck!!

Its probably not a good idea to try and get your ear pierced without your mom knowing. Eventually she will spot the hole in your ear. And when you get your ears pierced you have to keep your earing in for atleast a month i think ( i forgot how long i had 2 ) and so therefore your mom or someone else will deff spot it. Also dont have a friend do it. Don't have someone not insured pierce your ears. There could be a huge risk of you infecting your ears and then your mom will REALLY know that you got your ears pierced. I really hoped I helped. Make the right decision.

Haha. I have lots of piercings and have had to hide a majority of them from my parents. You can't get your ear pierced without a legal guardian if your under 18, which it sounds like you are. They won't do it. You would have to do it yourself or have a friend, like you said. If you have long hair, you can get away with it easy but if you have short hair, your screwed. You have to leave it in for weeks sometimes months before you can take the earring back out, so removing it when around your mum wouldn't be possible. My little brother wanted his ear piercing but my dad refused to let him. my mom took him to get it done though and my dad eventually accepted it. Talk to your mom, tell her that it's better if you just get your ear pierced instead of being out with your friends doing drugs or being in a gang....You know? Make her think you deserve it. And don't be an a$$ either.

problem number one is you thinking about piercing your ear personally or having a friend do it..what about infection!! ya-your friend may be really good at it and you may think that it would be clean, but infection can follow...you really want a huge puss filled ear? hell no! problem number two is that you dont want your mom to see...she is gonna find out, especially if you get an infection, there is no way around it honey!
my advice to you is to maturely talk to your mom about it, and if she says no, then there is no way to fight it. just wait until you are old enough to do it, and then if it still is cool to you then, by all means go ahead... ;)

well, when you first get them pierced you have to wear an earring for a certain amount of days do they won't get infected. If you really want to get away with it then go with the really small almost invisible earrings.

there is no painless way to do it besides getting it done professionally and i really woulnt suggest trying. besides hurting like hell, there is a very good chance it will become infected and there is no way to hide it from your mom. i personally dont know your mom but she probably will make you remove it and it would definitly not be worth it if that happened. you would be better off trying to convince her or just being patient.

Its going to hurt no matter who does it. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself, you may cause an infection. Either way you should listen to your mom. She's going to notice if you do. You can't hide a piercing and you have to leave it in for at least six weeks for it to heal properly.

Ok there is gonna be some pain. I did it when I was young.. It was easy but don't recommend it now!
If you do do it and have long hair keep your hair down covering your ears!

go to a beauty store and buy an ear peircing set, it comes with a gun so your friend go use that instead of a fat needle lol. and it gives you instructions and everything.

something like this:
