umm over-rated means like if some1 tells u " OH that movie was soo genius, and u gotta see it" and when u see it it kinda blows
is that over-rated?
Correct me if i'm wrong & tell me what under-rated means, thx

If a movie was kind of a failure and generally unwatched, and then you see it and it is good you would say it is under-rated. If a movie wins lots of awards and you see it and think it blows you would say it is over-rated.

Under-rated is the opposite of over-rated, Like when someone says that movie really blows, but really it was really awesome.

You are correct. Over rated means it was given too much credit...and under rated means it did not get enough credit.
