I totaly love the way women from India dress. I would like to ware the same garments at my up comming class reuinon.
I'm out 25 years and I'm afraid that people will think I'm nuts.
I came from a small school where alot of people are up tight, and think they are better than the other. Should I go like that or stay the same old me.

Oh I would'nt go as far as a sari but a nice pair of flowing pants and one of the pretty shirts. My class mates do know me as to go a LITTLE more than usual and totaly love the way I do it. I am caucation but love other nationalities wardrobes. Thanks to all of your input!

if it is something that you really wanna do, than i would say do it. it shouldnt matter what others think of you, if they do make fun of you than they arent true friends. for instance i have an african friend who made and sent me a dress and shirt that looks differnt to other people some say they like it others says its neat. i even ask them and they dont know it was from africa they say it looks american. when i tell them where it is from they think that it is really neat. my point is that, you are you and you have make your own choices, but i am just saying what i would do. I would wear it and be proud of it.

Go the way you want to go. However, its always good to consider negative situations, such as negative comments in this case, so only go with the Indian garments if you're sure you can deal with any negativity from others.
Also, remember that it's their problem if they don't like something, not yours.
I think it's a great idea to express who you are, and be so brave about it. Show them what you're really like! Show them that you've changed! Don't hide! :)

Okk...definately go as the same old you. Dressing as a person from India is not a good way to say goodbye to your fellow classmates. You should still be known as the same old you. I know this isnt really the greatest answer but i tried. Hope it sorta helps.

Hmmm, are you of Indian heritage? If you are, then cool, wear the garments of your heritage. If you're not, then, that is kinda weird. People will think you're nuts. Not saying you are. But they will think it.

Unless you want to cause a stir, I would suggest to stick to something most people wear for such occasions.
