when I was putting them away in my fridge, I noticed that one of the bottles had somthing black floating at the bottom of it. From the way it looked, it could have been seeds from something kind of fruit like a kiwi or even a blackberry, don't really know. My question is should I take any action. I talked to a few of my co-workers, and they said that I should call Snapple about it, but also I should have an attorney just in case they try and give me the run-around.

Should I go as far to alert the media? And trust me, if I did, this would not be one of those cases that turned out bogus in the end, I'm a honest woman. The bottle didn't seem like it was a tampered with, the box wasn't open at all, so it came from the plant like this. And the level of juice is the same as the others. Please you guys, help me on this.

Contact Snapple, they would like to know about it. They will probably ask for the bottle back so they could find out what the contamination is and how it got there. I dont see the need for the attorney as I doubt they would give you the runaround. They will probably give you free Snapple for the bad.

What kind of snapple was it?

Give them a call and have the bottle and box handy. If there is a problem they will want to know the numbers on the box so they can recall the stuff.

Some kinds of snapple (like the ice tea) sometimes look as if there is brown stuff at the bottom---then you shake it and it mixes in. Maybe some solids that should have been strained out accidentally made it into the bottle.

You would be doing something good for yourself and others by calling.

I had to call a company about something similar once(see bttm) and I got a nice lady on the phone, a big "sorry" and a bunch of free coupons---all good, no bad. So call them :)

Good luck!

(I bought a big package of sealed fruit cups and the seals obviously didn't keep the air out because some of the packages had mold in them.)

no, i love snapple, all of the bottles i got didn't have anything on the bottom so it was probably a fluke. if u bought snapple tea those could just be the tea leaves at the bottom. If u really want 2 go 2 the store and ask 4 a refund. Attorneys are expensive, and very risky. RASPBERRY ICE TEA 4 LIFE!!!!

I wouldn't bother an attorney over this, especially since you would pay a lot more fees for that alone than it deserves. Call Snapple. You should get a free drink out of it. In my opinion, it happens. When you call the company be sure to be polite and nice, otherwise they might not even listen to your complaint. Hope it goes well.

Even if you sue the company, you will probably get nothing in return as you have not even consumed the content.

Keep the bottle. Call the person in charge of the company's manufacturing plant, if the person is evasive and defensive, alert the media.

Tabloids are more than happy to report such incident.

You suffered no damage, so no basis for a law suit. Take the receipt and unopened bottle to the store where you bought it and ask for a replacement. Write to Snapple headquarters about it.

If you truly want to help Snapple, notify them, so they can check their equipment. Don't alert the media, that would hurt the Company and don't sue them over this, be kind and selfless
and help.
