The credit card company, Visa, charged me 75$ for buying something i didn't purchase. It said that i bought 75$ worth of content download on Xbox Live. We called the company and they said that no one got in to my account. I know i didn't buy anything. On my Xbox, it shows no information of me buying the Dance Dance Revolution songs it said i purchased. There isn't even any new songs on my Xbox! Now they are cancelling my account because i've cancelled my credit card. Now Visa is gonna send me some more crap about this dispute. Is there anything else i can do?

You need to act as a middleman between Microsoft customer service and your credit card company. If Microsoft has no record of you ordering anything, and the files are not on your hard drive, then they have to see that the charge they made is not legit. You are going to have to go through a lot of hassles if you want them to reverse the charge without closing your Live account.

all you really need to do is dispute the charge with your credit card company. It is up to them at that point to prove the charge is legit.

Every now and then, this kind of thing happens to me with my card(s) and they are very good about reversing the charge and sticking it to the vendor (xbox live) in your case.

well call again and ask to speak to a supervisor they will usually give you the credit back but since you canceled the credit card first there maybe a problem with you getting the credit back but call and see what can be settled
