start button then click run in box type command then enter button and a black box opens type ipconfig your address is beside ip address

go to start menu, run, in the run box type cmd and the command prompt box will open in the box type ipconfig that will show you your ip address

double click on the Local Area Connection icon located in your task bar (lower right hand icons...its a 2 computer icon), you'll get the widnow open with 2 tabs, general and support, click on support then you'll have your IP address pronto!
