I found a teddy bear that I used to carry around everywhere. I even had it in my teens. I meant so much to me because my mother gave it to me right before she died in a car accident. But it made me remember how much I loved life and was so priveledged to live is such a good community. It really surprises me sometimes how much things can take you back in time....

The last thing that made me travel back to my childhood was when my mother died. Seeing her there, brough memories back. Memories of the old and forgotten

Today in class... I'm a teacher.
A 12 year old girl was flirting (12 year old style... lots of pushing and giggling) with her crush.
Guaranteed stroll down memory lane, though a bit disconcerting at times.

I was taking a walk the other day, and the air carried a smell of teriyaki chicken that reminded me of walking home from school in Japan and getting teriyaki chicken on a stick.

Just a couple of days ago when one of the girls from our office brought in an arabic desert. I remembered I used to eat something similar as a child. Didn't like it then. Didn't like it now.

recently running the la marathon and realizing I had much more energy back then. Sucks too i'm only in my mid 20's
