My couch is only 7 months old but because it is in the main living space, it is used quite often. My sofa seat cushions are starting to get a bit "flat" and was wondering if there is a way to get it plump again without having to replace it. Any suggestions?

Before I chose the best answer, I tried a variation of the suggestion that does not involve any replacement. Because my cushions will not fit in my clothes dryer, I laid it out under the sun and the heat plumped it again. If not for the dryer suggestion, I would not think of doing this. Thanks!

If they are fabric covered, toss them, one at a time in the dryer to puff them back up.

I hope this works for you.

You can either take them to a Furniture repair center and have the foam replaced ( isn't to expensive to do) because
if you have an older sofa, the foam has probably broken down and become crumbly inside.
The only other option would be to go to a craft store, buy a few bags of craft stuffing, and stuff it inside the cushions. This could end up being more costly than foam replacement.

You have to dry it in the sun two times in a week. I think it will work for you.

Sounds like you need to replace the foam. See if you can get denser foam, it may last longer.
