i live in independence missouri. my mom wants to take me to king pin.
um...will it matter that i will only be 15...but have my mother with me?

I live in VA and things are different. But most places won't pierce underage kids for legal reasons. Some will with a parent, and some will if you have your parent and a birth certificate. It just depends on the state and the place. However, no matter where you are, make sure the place you go is CLEAN and the shop isn't in an alley or hidden. Most of those places tend not to be as sanitary and don't provide you with good after care information and all of that stuff.
Also make sure you can watch the person every minute and see them put gloves on and sterilize everything.

take some advice, im n ot telling you what to do, but wait until your old enough to get it your self.
Im 19. when i was 16 i wanted a tounge piercing. I though it would cool to have it done(everyone i knew was getn one). I decided to think about it and im glad i did.
For the fact my cousin got hers done and it was hell for her. Eating ice cream for swelling and soups. using mouth wash everyday to keep it clean ( gotta hurt on open sore).After all that she chipped her teeth. I thought it was cool then but now that i look back, its stupid.
Same for a belly button ring. You do it to show off your belly and guys think a lil more of it as a piece of jewlery.
You can get it caught on something and it can rip your skin(if not healed right or all the way). If its not done right you skin will split and oyu will need stitches to close it. If it gets infected you will be in pain and yeah you will lose the piercing so it can heal right.
Your 15 and have a lot ahead of you. So give it some time and think real hard about it. Look around you and see how other girls look with it.Cool right, wrong, look harder. See others who are older than them, how they look? gross.
You think it's cool now but down the road you will think different

You will have your mom with you, so it will be ok that you get your belly button peirced.
Make sure and get the instructions on how to care for it as it is healing.

Don't bother . . it will hurt and bleed and possibly get infected.
Oh, and it will dangle round any other percings you get that you may think cool right now when you are in your fifties.
I can hear your mom's piercings klanking from here in Scotland :-)
