What do you think of the "N" Word?

I think people focus too much attention on words and less on actions. Call me what you will, but once you start hindering my economic and social opportunities, that's where I take issue.

Why is i okay for N's to say i o each other, but if another race says it, all hell breaks loose?

Why is it okay for N's to call others by "whitey, cracker, etc", but the second we try to defend ourselves, we're racists?

N is just a WORD. If words could bite, I could then see the reason for making it out to be bad. But as i stands, it's no big deal. If George Carlin can get away with it, then to hell with everyone else.

PS Dos anyone know WHY white people are called crackers?? (Has something to do with being efficient with whips!)

I hate the N word, I forbid anybody to use it in my house and have even thrown out my own sister for doing so. I think this word is the most degrading word a person can use.

I do however, understand when black people use it themselves, they have that right.

Are we talkin` the big "N" word??? Not appropiate people, pleeze!!! Surely, as a race we are better than that. People of ALL RACES deserve the same respect and esteem that you or I demand from each other.

Well, some people use it jokingly like it's nothing, but I know that for many it holds a lot of hate and anger. It hurts them to hear it.

there are racial slurs for every race. none of them should be used...in public.... really though, it's not nice. no one wants to hear that shiz, and i've heard in some places they plan to fine you for sayin it. ^,^ $$$$$


oh and corhanem, whit ppl are called crackers (or saltines) cuz crackers are usualley pale in color and easy to breakk (not to be racist cuz ya know i aint white or black i'm the other 2)

I think it's disgusting and NO ONE should use it, I don't care what your race is.
