i dont wear hollister or abercrombie or american eagle. i wear Gap, Aeropostale, Old Navy and other brands. i am smart but also kinda ditzy. last year i was a BIG dork, but i changed and i am soo pretty this year. in history our teacher was giving us team names, and she coouldt think of one for our team, and a popular yelled out " they should be the DORKS!!" and people started laffing. like i am really quiet around people. and stuff. i hang aroud with dorks, maybe a fewwww populars. what is the popular peoples problems??? they can be really dumb most of the time. i am nice to them, but they dont seen to appreciate it. and i am kinda just A LITTLE bit pudgy, but nothing too noticable. and i know overwieght people dont get automatically classified as a dork. is there a saying or something tht says "once a dork always a dork"?

Just think, nearly all of the cool people your in high school with right now, will go on to lead broken lives and unfulfilled dreams. From early pregnancies and college dropouts, to drugs, to general laziness and stupidity.
It's the kid who keeps his/her priorities straight, focuses on his studies and plans for the future, that will someday "own" the cool kids.
Just ask Bill Gates...

Well, the most dorkless(?) people at my school are people who arent afraid to be themselves. They're outgoing, nice, and unhypocritical. Sure, they buy clothes from popular places such as ae or abercrombie, but they're mostly popular for their personality. The dorks at my school are the people who worry too much about what other people think and have a misconception of popularity. They think that to be popular you must be pretty and have cool clothes. Just be an individual. Cool people are those in which everyone feels comfortable around. Instead of trying to figure out how to not be a dork, focus on school and your good friends. I realized that once I just started being myself and being more outgoing I just naturally made more friends. And, I'm pretty sure this concept isnt a one-person type of thing.

I was a "dork" through most of middle and high school. I tried really hard after all that to be "cool", and I acted completely different than the person that I am. Then, I got married and now I don't care so much about what others think. I told my friend the other night that I liked a certain TV show, and she said "you're such a dork" and I was like "yes I know I am". But it doesn't matter anymore, my true friends like me for who I am and anyone who doesn't, who cares??? You will not be in school forever...

Yes you are a dork because you mentioned that you only wear certains brands of clothing, and also think that wearing these brands makes you less cool than someone that wears another brand. What the hell is wrong with you? Seriously your parents have definitely miserable job raising you. You claim to be smart, but from what I am reading you have the IQ of a Baboon. I really hope you are under the age of 12 because if not I truly feel sorry for you because you're going to have a difficult time surviving in this word.

Who cares what other people think? (I know, easier said than felt, but still). Whether you are a dork or not is beside the point, I think. The question is whether you are comfortable being a "dork" or not. Being a "dork" doesn't have to be a bad thing. Why should other peoples' opinions of yourself matter more than your own. Don't try to impress "popular" people. Who are they? You make yourself into a non-person when you base your identity on what other people value!

i'm pretty much in the same situation as you are :] like i KNOW some popular people..and we say hello in the halls..but it's like they never appreciate me so i never feel like i'm good enough to sit with them at lunch or anything. but no. once a dork isn't always a dork. for one. hollister and abercombie are way too expensive and just a shirt is enough money to feed china. lol. so don't worry about the clothes. it's just how you carry yourself. if you walk around just wishing that you were with the popular kids or that you were cooler....people will get that vibe. so when people say stuff like "they should be the dorks" you should just laugh and say "yeah. the mighty rainbow dorks" or something stupid, so people will see that you don't care what people think, and they'll respect that. so be outgoing. and don't think about being outgoing. just say what you think. goodluck♥

it doesnt matter what other people say. its all about your friends.

seriously. no matter WHO said WHAT to you or about you, as long as youve got friends you can turn to thats all that matters. good friends will have your back and like you for being you. even if you are a dork.

and you wanna know the truth about dorks?
everyone is a dork.
seriously.

everyone has done something dorky, some more than others. calling someone a dork is like calling someone a human.
its too obvious.

i hope this helps you.

DO NOT PAY ATTENTION to those ppl u say are "popular". If you think being popular is the most important thing right now its not. Dont worry about what other ppl think if you know that u are pretty and good. You need to like yourself and have more confidence for ppl to like you/notice you. Stay true to your real friends even if they're not popular.
