Very good balance of power of speed. Francoeur could have a break out year now that he has full 162 game season behind him and will likely bat in a more productive spot in the order. Markakis is very streaky if he is facing a bunch of RHP in the later parts of the rotations. Drew has a major upside and backing him up with a stable player like Renteria is a really good move. Encarnacion is my pick for late round MVP at 3B - he has some power and will be thrown into a major role on offense this year. Pitching is about as solid as you can get in a fantasy draft without sacraficing some big name hitters. Tank may not get as many opportunities as other pitchers - watch his shoulder problem, the injury to Josh Johnson moved Nolasco to a starting position so that may have saved Tank's role as closer. Jones may have competition from Zumaya if he stumbles. And Wainright may be a surprise as a SP, he has the pitches to strike out 200 if they give him the innings but 170 is more realistic.
I wouldn't change a thing unless you run into trouble or have injuries. And watch Ervin "Magic" Santana, he is good. The Angels were offered a lot of trades for big names and turned down any offer that included Santana. Bud Black thought he was a better pitcher than Lackey or Colon.

This team could really do good both on pitching and batting
Key Players-
Batting - Mauer (is really good), ortiz (hes big pappy and is just really good), uggla (gets you hits), manny (always has solid year), crawford (for steals)
Pitching- "splish splash taking a " sabathia, penny (is a solid pitcher) santana, AND WAINWRIGHT ( is key he is counted as a rp and he is going to be a starter... has some nasty pitches that can get a lot of k's )
i give it a 8 or 9 out of 10

Pretty dang solid and very balanced two players per position not bad. You got some very good picks but you could do some upgrading. For one you don't need two catchers. Your rightfielders are pretty weak. You might want to trade for someone better than those guys. Your pitchers are pretty solid. Brad Penny and Todd Jones are getting older so beware they weren't that great and they aren't getting any better... Sabathia might start slipping as well so watch out. Your position players are pretty dang solid if you upgrade you should be able to win your league pretty easily.

I think its pretty nice. I would maybe try to trade one of your hitters. for an upgrade. I personally would try to find a trade for your 2ber and upgrade there. Could get a high asking price for a 2nd year player. Your pitching staff is good but lacks a shut down closer. Maybe tradeing a hitter and a 2ber for a kendrick and a rivera would work....
Other than that I would say a 8 outta 10.
You should be in the playoffs baring injuries but may need a little bit of help to win your league

thank you for asking this question as you supply me of venture to vent. the main over rated group palms down is Wisconsin. they are good, i will supply them that, yet not #5. final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days they did not play Ohio State that's why they went 11-a million. once you play in a convention the place 6 out of 11 communities are not even bowl eligible, you do not play the terrific group, and lose to the 2nd terrific, you greater effective go 11-a million. Their maximum surprising win interior the properly-known season replaced into against 8-4 Penn State. I advise whoopdy do! I picked the outstanding 3 communities interior the large ten to lose their bowl video games final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and replaced into outstanding on 2 out of three. a technique or the different, Wisconsin controlled to triumph over Darren Mcfadden for his or her basically surprising win of the 300 and sixty 5 days which in my opinion nonetheless isn't sufficient to be ranked #5. EDIT: Luv to trip. i'm not a badgers fan yet interestingly i be responsive to them greater effective than you. Wisconsin did not play Ohio State. They performed Michigan and lost by using 14. they did not play Ohio State in 2006, that's why they went 11-a million. in case you like the badgers plenty get YOUR data in the present day. Or is it purely as not undemanding so which you will have self assurance they are ranked #5 without playing Ohio State because it somewhat is for me?

The team is great in batting. The team will be horrible in pitching. I'm a pitching guy who goes with the heater. So I personally think go get more pitchers and trade many batters you don't need for more pitching.

your team is actually very good, i must say. depending on what league you're in, i would get a more solid and dependable 3B, and put somebody besides frank thomas as your util, use crawford or hunter. I'd give your team an 8.5, Your starters are good and ur lineup is excellent
