I need something to work from for my Geography report. A short paragraph or so would be nice. I'm kinda having trouble putting it into words.

the study of the growth & decline of dominant or major world cities. the factors which promote& support it's growth & it's decline, ie, size, population, location & geographical terrain, political & economic systems, rates of growth, indicators of decline in the factors of growth & it's rate.
