it might be a weird question but, what are hotdogs made out of?

Hot dogs are made up of extra parts from cows, pigs, horses, sheep, and sometimes donkey. The outside casing is the intestine of a pig. Pretty much it's all the extra crap laying around after you take out what we eat.

A lot are made out of pig intestines-that's the sad truth. Other times they are made of the non-usable pieces of beef or pig scraps. Sometime they mix blends of meat. I know because my friend's uncle works in a poultry plant and he knows a lot more about the way meat is processed than most people do.

For example a beef hot dog has the all the meat they don't want like the meat around the butt or stomach

You can use any kind of meat. Hot Dogs are like sausages.

Beef and pork, mostly. The rest is scrapings from the kill floor I would imagine.

All the parts of animals that they didn't want to put in anything else...like pig asses, intestines, feet, nose, stuff like that.

Hopefully you don't eat hotdogs.
It's cruel and it's not a humane thing to do. Poor animals are being killed everyday for no reason and they end up on your plate. My husband and I are totally against it. Our kids don't eat them either.

Lips, toenails, brains, guts and anything else they can think of to throw in the grinder. Then they put it in a gut membrane, seal it up and we actually eat them! EWWW!
