I've been there. These things are MASSIVE. To build them today would takes masses of machinery, labourers, project managers, supervisors - you get my drift.
To build these things 5 thousand years ago either took a very dedicated workforce - or they had help. I think they had help....

on a serious note I think it is interesting that the pyramids in Egypt, Japan and South America here all being built to a similar design at the same time by three different cultures with no contact between them. It raises interesting questions into parallel development

The whole higher life forms comes from the thinking that humans need "creative nudge" for doing greater things. I believe in "creative nudge" but I think instead of a higher life form, it comes to a humans within and is called "inspiration" and "imagination".
Even though I am open to the answer to be debated with rigorous fact, I am more inclined to believe that a man dreamed of pyramids and that dream led to their construction.

there is a posibility since they have complete drawings that are prefect to scale form really high up, but then they found a modle of a plane in one so maybe they could fly

I like to think so, but I've never done any research on it...
