We are animals....anyways, yes I think so in answer to your question.
When I am in a herd of horses, even if they don't know me, and I do a threatening gesture because they are crowding me (head lowered a bit and a feint towards them), they back off and respect the distance. If you know the body language, they usually will not see you as different from them. Weird looking maybe, but still like them.

Yes, they do. A lot of people wonder why the animal they hate (like a cat) always wants to go to the person that hates them. Well, what they see is a big cat, yelling and screaming at them. They view the quite person as the big cat that THEY like. That is why cats tend to go to the person that really hates them. All animals see us as "bigger them."

We are animals. We are mammals closely related to the chimpanzee. I think sometimes we forget that. We are the most dangerous animal on the planet as well.

No they see use as a supeior being. when in fact humans are some of the dumbest animals out there

Yes. Humans are considered animals, though many forget that. Horses and dogs see us as other horses/dogs.
