I'm in love with my best friend and I told her. She either doesnt love me back or doesn't believe me. I really want to be her friend but it's hard for me to ignore my feelings for her when i'm with her. I rarely ever see her and we only communicate with e-mail. And when I do see her, I always hug her and hold her tight. I kiss her on the cheek and neck and one time we kissed on the lips really softly but it just happened for 2 seconds. I've told her many times, in detail that I love her in e-mails. I even tell her after I kiss her and she says "do you mean that?" I tell her yes!!!! I love this girl with all of my heart but I dont want to hurt myself when I'm with her. I can't pretend I dont love her. What should I do? I want to be her friend but its hard because I have intense feelings for her.

You might have to move on. Sorry to say. If she doesnt like you, you just have to keep on being yourself until she falls for you. If she isnt taking it seriously its because she doesnt want to accept it. You just have to continue being friends with her.

If she doesnt seem to like you back, she could be scared to lose you as a friend.

Awww... that's so sweet... she needs to tell you exactly how she feels about it b4 you can make up your mind. If you guys only communicate through email are you really bffs? You seem very intimate for just friends. I really really hope it works out for you guys. But remeber, sometimes the fantasy is better than the real thing. Good luck!!! This is such a sweet story

you have to tell her face to face.

the context of text is often hard to read. the expression of written words can have several if not infinite meanings. to get the point across you need to tell her in person so she definitly gets it.

youve said you loved her with all your heart, thats cool and all, but dont come off as "too embrassive". dont over do it because it might freak her out (no offense). when you deal with such strong emotions its easy to make things uncomfortable.

i wish you the best luck man.
go get her.

Take her out for a soda or coffee and tell her again how you feel. Tell her you would like to stay friends with her, but it's too hard for you, because you love her. If she doesn't express mutual feelings for you, move on. It worked for me! Seventeen years and counting!

She's probably confused-she wants to stay friends but in the back of her mind she might be thinking the same things you are. She's also probably worried, what if you two don't stay together? She probably doesn't want to loose someone as good as you. Stay true to yourself but also to her. She'll come around when she's ready.

You might be creeping her out. Lay off just a little. She will let you know if she likes you, she obviously knows you like her!

wow.
just ask her if she has ever liked you. (just don't say "hey, do you have a crush on me?") it seems like ya'll are pretty close, so there is a big possibility she does.
Good Luck!
