I have a question about accpetance letters. What decides how long it takes for my application to be processed? and if the college tells you thet you are getting your result letter at a later time is this a bad sign saying that I didn't get aceppted please answer.

Your application is read by several admissions officers individually, and later they meet as a group and assess a cluster of applications at once. This takes time, even with early action. Even if yours was the first application read, they have 9,999 others to read before they send all the letters out!

Don't take it as a bad sign that you have received notice from them about a delayed decision. However, to be perfectly blunt, your chances of getting in are small, only 9% of applicants are accepted.
