Nothing against people from Nigeria when I say this: Nigeria and Romania are the two hotspots for fraud at the moment. Legally it is ok to sell there. But scammers abound on a massive scale. Almost every day you hear in the news about a new scam, mostly internet auctions happening. The place where it originates from is usually Nigeria or Romania.
My advice is do not sell there no matter what.

If you have to ask this question then most likely you have been asked to help out a business sell their products there. You would recieve the products, then ship them to Nigeria where they would be sold and you would get some money to do this. The problem is... What if they buy the products using stolen credit cards, and have them delivered to you. Then, you sending them off to Nigeria does violate some laws. And after a few weeks of this, you are going to get busted...

Yes. But you have to be careful. Nigeria is world famous for running internet scams. They have been known to send counterfeit checks and US Postal money orders.

You better wait about a year for whatever form of payment they use to clear. I don't care if it's a money order or a bank draft. The odds are it will eventually bounce. There are small businesses all over America that lost a small fortune to these scams.
