One day in L.A, this boy was spreading rumors saying "Did you knw (my name) rapes her little brother?" which really hurt because I love my little bro. I told the guidance counsler at school because it was very hurtful that he would say something about me to that extreme when he knows it's not true. I am beginning to think I did the wrong thing, did I do the right thing?

What else could you do? At least now the school authorities are notified, and to just to let you know, I don't know what I would have done to that kid if he bad-mouthed my family like that. So yes, you did the right thing. And if he decides to taunt you in public, just tell him to shut up and stop thinking about little boys and call him a sick perv- which is what he is.

Of course you did the right thing. That boy was spreading hateful rumors (and probably not just about you) and that needed to be recognized. It's a shame the boy didn't get in more trouble because that kind of bullying can lead to mental problems in those hurt by the rumors (not accusing you of that, though). He could seriously damage kid's psyches. You should not feel bad about it. Kudos to you for telling someone.

Yes, you did what was right. You were counteracting the rumors which were being spread about you. Those stupid rumors, especially this one, are very serious. REAL sexual assault is a horrible crime. And it is very good that you got that whole ordeal settled before you got into a huge ordeal/law suit, etc.

Good job standing up for yourself and your image.

i would have your parents go talk to his or file a harrasment charge iwth the police he can get into trouble andi t could get you in trouble if someone takes it to heart and tries to do something about it . This requires serious action .

there is nothing wrong with what you did, that person who said that must have a pretty sick mind if that is the kind of thing he thinks of to make up

You did! That boy was bullying you, and in that case you always have the right to tell someone.
