Why is it that NBA, and NFL referees and MLB umpires are never interviewed after games for questionable calls.

Referees and Umpires belong to Unions, but so do the athletes. Athletes and coaches are required to attend aftergame news conferences. Why are the ref's and umps untouchable?

They probably don't want to embarrass themselves further.

Maybe so they get less air-time/face-time and disgruntled fans won't be able to hunt them down.

COMMISSIONERS HAVE DEEMED IT SO.
THEIR CALLS ARE FINAL--ABSOLUTE..
GOD LIKE....
THEY ARE NOT ANSWERABLE TO ANYONE LIKE THE PRESS NOR PUBLIC AND THATS RIGHT.....THE WAY IT SHOULD BE..
