How do I clean fiberglass screens?

I HAVE A FAN THAT BLOW OUT OF MY APARTMENT. THUS, THE SCREEN GETS ALL DIRTY AND CLOGGED. I HAVE TRIED, RUBBING ACHOHOL, SOAP AND WATER, WINDEX, (I USED A TOOTHBRUSH)....I HAVE NO ACCESS TO HIGH POWERED WATER OR STEAM SPRAY....CAN YOU HELP? THANKS...GLEN

Pop the screen out of it's place in the window frame area. Take it to a spot that you can lay it flat and get it wet. Use a bit of car wash soap and a car wash brush with it laying on the "ground"... give it a rinse and away you go.

Vacuum it.
