I plan to get a neighborhood petition together for local representatives and government officials to act upon. I have horrible traffic issues in my neighborhood and I want to bring this issue to the local government. How do I PROPERLY complete a petition?

You need to see your County Clerk and ask her, she or he would know how to go about it. Good Luck.

Go down to your local city hall and ask for the forms, they will help you out, good luck, if it costs money and your city is tapped out, it will be a real battle. It can be done. my neighborhood had and still has some, some speed bumps were put in, and they helped.It is do able.
