Can you run ram with ewes and lambs? All the time.?
Ram has be rough with new born lambs and knocks them over.

Nope. They are fine 99% of the time (unless you have a super over aggressive male). They may run off the young males in a month or two after birth, but they will always be fine with the ewes and any female offspring.

Oh- they also need a big enough enclosure. If he feels like the population is too big for the current space, he may kill the young off.
