We've had all of our tests done, and I am just waiting for my husband to get back before we go through with our final stages of IVF (He's in the Navy and he'll back in June). We're very lucky in that we will be getting this done at the best place in the country (The Jone's Institute), but I'm nervous. Is there anything I shoud be doing to get myself prepared?

Don't b nervous, everything will be fine, just don't take any type of stress, that's the most important thing when you are ttc (trying to conceive)
keep yourself calm & relax
Take care & best of luck:)

I just went through IVF (last Dec.). Well, it's a bit of a bumpy hormonal ride, you have alot of hormones/medication to take at different phases of the cycle, you will have injections for a while--about a week's worth, also, you'll have some ultrasounds/blood tests also (usually every morning for about 1 weeks time) and if this sounds a bit heavy, it is, but you know what it's totally worth it to try especially if you succeed. remember that you are on hormones and know it could be a bit emotional at times. Good Luck to you...ours did not work, but I'm so glad we tried it! Again, good luck to you.....also one last thing, the website www.ivfworld.com is a great resource for everything about pre, during and post IVF.... :)

Talk to your clinic before hand and ask their advice. I would also suggest following a healthy diet and lifestyle for the months leading up to your cycle. Infertility Network UK is the national charity supporting people through infertility and you can visit their website at www.infertilitynetworkuk.com. Best of luck with your treatment.
