Men are not as open on their emotions as women are, thus it is looked at by women that they don't care as much. Not so much the case. It's just the way it usually works. Men have a harder time putting their feelings into words, sometimes not even knowing themselves of how they're feeling.

Men express their feelings in various ways...on the outside they may not show it, but on the inside they're emotional to it. I admit, my hubby displayed all the care in the world when it came to baby talk. But then again, most guys like to think of their 'package' and what they're intending to do with it. When planning for a first baby, I've noticed that some men get rather nervous because they're unsure about the journey ahead of them, but give them time and they tend to come to terms with the excitement and joy, and then it's even harder to minimise their excitement.

My husband acts that way and I actually asked him why he does it he said it's not that he doesnt care, he just doesnt want to get his hopes up and get disappointed when I dont get pregnant, but of course he gets really excited when it's baby making time. That is just part of being a man

I have never had that problem. My husband cared or I wouldn't have wanted to make a baby with him.

Some men are just scared of the unknown and maybe even that they won't be able to support your growing family. Don't worry, though, it will pass.
