Freaked out in a good way or a bad way? I love it...When I was a young girl my brother would tap our maple trees and Mom would cook the sap down and we would end up with 1 cup (if we were lucky) to share among the six of us for our pancakes. Hey, I just wrote a run-on sentence...oooo that angers me. lol

No but I find it kind of weird how the fake syrup (well not natural like Aunt Jemima or however you spell that) tastes a hell lot better than the real, natural kind like the kind you get from Canada.

pure maple syrup is the best. on pancakes, French toast, and ice cream just to name a few. yummy to the tummy

I have these nightmares....
A big hairy biker, called Betsy, is pouring Maple syrup all over my naked body.... and he's grinning and licking his lips!
Now I am freaked out all over again!

yes i have nightmares of someone putting it in my hair and then i go to brush it and the brush gets stuck and im all sticky and i scream "noooooooooo"

No - they make it all around me - NY, VT, NH, RI & ME - its just buckets on trees - nothing to fear.
