What is a good life simulation game on the internet that is free??

I played "On Your Own in Metro City" today at school and it was a blast! Only thing is, it's on a cd .. So I wanted something like that to play on the Internet!!

Second Life is apparently pretty good.

There.com is cool. It's what the MTV game Virtual Hills runs off of. The basic membership is free. Make sure you open it with IE, it won't load up in Firefox.
