Go (more coplicated than chess. Slow and methodical. and its claim to fame is that it was shown in the movie " a beautiful mind")

Chinese Chess ( I have played a few games and to me it seems easier than chess, almost as fun. games seemed to go faster)

Chinese chekers ( I have no idea whether it actually came from asia, but its a fun game! 4 can play it)

The most popular is Go, a game in which the rules are very simple but the strategy is very deep and subtle, so much so that even computers can't play it well yet! There are many Go websites and you can even play it right here on Yahoo.

There are also "Chinese Chess" and "Shogi" (Japanese Chess). The object of these games is the same as our Chess, to capture the King, but the pieces move differently.

I know more about board games in the Philippines as I lived there for a while. They play mahjong (a lot and usually with money!) and mancala (they call it locally sungka). Also about Malaysia from a friend, they play chinese checkers there. Overall, chinese checkers and mahjong are very popular throughout Asia.
