There is only one way to unlock this phone and that is through 3 themselves as its a Nokia BB5 handset - these can only be unlocked by the network provider
They will charge you about £20 - £30 for an unlock code that they will send you via SMS - this is absolotely the only way and beware of people adversiding codes on ebay for these phones they do not work.
Hope this helps

As someone who has been with 3 for some years now, I hope I can give you an accurate answer. Sorry, but it can't be unlocked on 3 until your contract has expired. Even then, you can only do it directly through 3. If you try to do it through a local unlocking centre, it will only do a partial unlock. This means that if you unlock it by another method than 3 it will only be able to be used with the sim you use to unlock it with. If you change to a different sim, the phone will lock back to 3 again. They are, to my knowledge, the only network that do this. It will cost you £15 to unlock it through 3, but at least it'll be done properly. I hope this helps.

3 is the most difficult network to unlock any phone from. you really need to find someone who knows what they are doing. one of the staff in our local carphone wearhouse told me about a guy who does it in our town.
