What is the format for the Rate function on Visual basic .net, i tried what i read on MSDN and its not helping

VB.net has intellisense as built in help. As you type the function a popup will display describing what datatype is expected and its description.

x = financial.rate(num,pymt, PV, FV)

where:
num = number of payments over annuity
pymt = monthly payment
PV = present value
FV = [Optional ] Future value
