I'm not familiar with Canadian laws on the subject, but in the US such reservations are not considered parts of the states -- they are sovereign independent territories. So state laws would not apply, just as they don't apply to neighboring states.

I suspect it works the same in Canada.

Are you loopy? you won't be able to have one rule for the English and yet another for minority communities - just to thrill them! Do you think of that in case you went to a muslim united states of america strolling the streets on your bikini they could tolerate it!!! Are you asserting that it is okay to be killed by skill of smoke of a minority team? Sorry, the united kingdom does no longer enable smoking in public places - end of. it particularly is no longer in basic terms the Shisha cafes which will go through - english pubs all over the land are too!

Indian reservations are soverign nations. They make their own laws, have their own police and courts. They don't have to follow local law on the reserve.
