you should try some caramel and light golden blonde streaks, they go well with brown hair

I like the red highlights, maybe make em a little oranger <--- haha great word, but ya not bright orange like bronzeish? I have dark brown hair with light brown red orange highlights and i get lots of compliments

You can put more than one color of highlight. I have and got so many compliments. I had a blonde and a copper(light reddish blonde) added and people loved it.

Hun, I have the same hair color, (don't go by my avatar. its Princess Kitana, cause she has black hair) I got average blonde highlights done, and they looked great. Just don't get anything that is close to gold, yellow ,or platinum blonde... just your basic shade of blonde looks great. (on the light side but not completley platinum works great too)
