Yes, because they are both foolish enough to believe that their lives and personalities are governed by lumps of rock and gas which exert less influence on them than a passing truck.

Scorpio With Gemini:
Here Gemini has found a mate that can surpass the Gemini urge for action. Gemini is more than a match for Scorpio from a mental standpoint, but from a desire and physical viewpoint, Gemini is too modest to meet Scorpio's demands. Gemini's desire for freedom of action will clash with the jealous and possessive nature of Scorpio. While some Gemini-Scorpio combinations may work out fairly well, the pure Gemini- Scorpio alliance packs as much power as an atomic bomb, and is therefore, not really the most ideal match. An air sign with a water sign. These two will have some difficulty rectifying their innate natures. Love conquers all. Then again, too much stifles some. This zodiac sign match can make it in the long haul, as long as both parties are willing to compromise.
Love & Blessings

I cant tell you the exact reasons why but i am a scorpio and my other half is a gemini. I just found its a great match personally but of course you know you shouldnt base a relationship on that kinda thing. I have also found that i have always gotten along well with gemini's so I think that for the most part they do make good matchings for love or friendship.

Yes. The research shows that generally speaking, arranged marriages do tend to last longer than "love marriages". But, there is an obvious third factor that contributes to this trend.. namely, religion/societal norms. The same cultures that have arranged marriage also often look poorly on divorced individuals, especially women, and have little women's rights. So it is not that these arranged marriages are likely "better", but rather that the societies where arranged marriages occur are not conducive to high divorce rates. As for Saudi Arabia, my best guess would have something to do with that women have little rights so men can divorce them for any reason. Hell, in some societies a man can kill a woman just for "disrespecting" him.
