You have a large drawing file with many layout tabs.
It's slowing down your computer. You want to have separate drawing files for each layout. I recommend saving an extra copy of your original file just for keeping it safe. Now on your main file I would use the purge command to shed some weight. Then to get the layouts into separate files i would make another copy named after the first layout and keep all the layout tabs but in this copy erase everything from model space. The good thing about copies is you don't have to set your units, dimstyle, textstyle, layers, mechanical settings... it's all set up. Back in your main file I would draw a point at 0,0. It could be on the defpoints layer. Save and close. Now, in your copy with empty model space, use xref to show everything in the model space of your main drawing. This keeps your copy small and fast. you can move the xref to put your point on 0,0 and everything will be where it belongs. Now you can take this file and copy it multiple times once for each layout. Rename the files after the layouts. Open each and erase the layouts other than the one each file is named for. Any changes to model space should be done back in the main file. The changes will show up in all your new files when you reopen them.

I'm not sure what you mean by heavy archive but I will assume you mean a very large file. The easiest way I have found to move items to a separate drawing is to open your big drawing, then under file, select new and under the window menu, select tile. Then cut from one and paste in the other and save the new one with a new name.
