My poor boyfriend has just recently been diagnosed with Mononucleosis, and I can't see him because his parents don't know we're together (long story), so I feel that praying and letting him know how I'm thinking of him and how much I love him over the phone is all I can do. I don't think I'll actually be seeing him for quite awhile. I feel so helpless. He has such a poor immune system, having had Malaria umpteen times and smoking and such things. It's horrible. Any advice on how to cheer him up when I do talk to him would be lovely. And, again, your prayers are much appreciated. <3

Prayers don't work, hon. Study after study have shown that even when someone is aware they are being prayed for, nothing happens. If they aren't aware, nothing happens either..... sorry, nope, won't pray for your bf.
