ok i am a level 10 dwarf hunter and i cant figure out how to get a pet. how do i summon it. what button do i press . somone help!

To keep things simple.
You will need to speak to a hunter trainer. Go speak to him, and he should offer a quest.
The quest will have you go out and tame specific animals, and then return to the hunter trainer.
Once you finish the quest he will reward you with several spells.
Once you find a pet that you would like to tame, open your spell book, approach the animal and cast Tame Beast.
The creature MUST be a beast, and he must be either the same level, or lower to you.
When you start casting "Tame Beast" it will be a channelled spell, during that time, do not move or do anything else.
When it is finished, the pet will be yours.

you need to do the quest that allows you to tame a beast... find the beast you want and stand in front of it and click on the tame beast icon that should be in your spells book... the pet will attack, but dont fight back... after 20 seconds its tame. Feed it right away or it will run away..... I am lvl 66 and I have had the same pet since lvl 20... a bengal tiger... great pet.

First you need to train to get the "Train Pet" ability.
Find a beast your level or lower, hit the train button. It will start to attack you, but dont' touch anything. If you are successful it will become your pet.
Next, you will need to feed it until the face next to your pet's bar is green.
If you right click on the pet's health bar, you can rename him (but only once).
You will also be able to dismiss pet, ressurect pet, feed pet, heal pet and call pet.

Okay, this is the deal.
Find a level 10 Beast.
Hit 'P'
Look for a thing that says TAME BEAST
Go up and cast that on the pet.
It will attack you.
You should survive.
it will then be your pet. Use the whistle icon that says "call pet"
to call it.
Make sure it is happy, if not feed it some food. MEAT OR FISH.

After doing those things, you need to open the spells button and drag the summon pet, resserect pet, feed pet, and other pet abilities to the action bars, then just click on the appropriate one. For example, your pet dies, click resserect pet button and your pet will appear, then feed and mend the pet back to health. Hope this helps :)

easy not much
first look for a beast lower than level 9
(you should have finished the quest : tame beast)
go to spell book
beast mastery
tame beast
(you should know this if the quest is done)
(im having fun answerin this)
you can call ur pet if it dissapears by "call pet' on spell book
