You know that comic strip "Zits", right? I was just wondering why some people say that it can be slightly risque. If this is true, can someone give me some examples? I'm just wondering.

I wouldn’t call it risque. I can bring to mind only one or two episodes where it touched lightly on something like that.

One was where Jeremy’s girlfriend got her hair styled and they were making out and then he went home later to find that his mother had her hair styled the exact same way, and (obviously deliberate on the part of the artist/writer) his mother looked so much like his girlfriend from the back that Jeremy was scandalized at the realization that he had experienced a twinge of sexual attraction toward his mother.

A similar one was when his mother donated a bunch of her old clothes to a thrift shop and his girlfriend went and bought them (not knowing they had belonged to Jeremy’s mom.)When she showed up dressed in her ‘retro’ outfit it was obvious (again, deliberate on the part of the artist/writer) that she looks an awful lot like Jeremy’s mom. The girls laughed over it, but Jeremy looked like he was about to freak out.

So, not risque in the sense you usually might think. But it has been pointed out more than once that, no matter how young people try to ‘define’ themselves, they are going to be an awful lot like their parents. And in most cases, young guys are attracted to girls who have at least a little in common with their mothers.

This presumes a wholesome relationship between the father and mother, so that the boy sees respect and affection between them and learns by example how to behave respectfully toward a woman that he likes. I hope this clears things up.

Its about a teenage boy in angst. It is not very "risque" but it is funny!

It's not risque. I don't know what everyone else is seeing, but it's not.
