Depend on which team u r talking about. They play different position. Rip is a reliable SG while Stephon is playing well (at the moment) as PG. But in general Rip is more reliable as a scoring and I will take him!

Rip, can flat out shoot, and makes good decisions. Stephon though is a good player, will not stick to a game plan when things aren't going good, . . . which will cause the rest of you team to abandon the game plan, making it harder to overcome any game time problems you might be having, -- Rip on the other hands understand how he scores, and passes get even more open for more shots, ... Steph, is going to shoot shoot, and then shoot some more, ... his focus, is stats, and not the W, . . . . I'd go with Rip.

rip is more of a team player...stephon is a selfish player. steph is more explosive while rip is a steady player.

when each were drafted i would say steph was looked at to having a better career down the line. but i think his attitude put a damper on that...which shows on the teams that he's been on and his relative lack of success winning.

between the two...rip would be a better pick.

rip hamilton for sure. stephon isnt very good. if he was the knicks would be doing a lot better. rip is a great shooter and isnt selfish. marbury is too cocky and he complains about everything

Stephon. Putting up 40 on a 2 OT game is tight. dishing a game winner in OT is tight. He hits 3s all day.

rip is great but can't shoot off a dribble or pass. he needs to set up and take his time. Stephon doesn't

definitely rip.... way consistent shooter...extremely great free-throw shooter.. gets the defender tired..which would result in that player getting tired on the offesnive/ defensive end... which means less production

Starbury just seems to have a curse... wherever he goes that teams gets worse...when he leaves, it gets better...look at where he has been to... ever since he entered the league back in 96...there has been the Starbury curse...
Minnesota...replaced by Cassell
New Jersey Nets: replaced by Jason Kidd
Then went to Pheonix: replaced by Nash...
now at new york

dont get me wrong...Starbury and Rip are both all-stars in my opinion, but Starbury would probly be better to be the instant offense of the bench on a veteran team....even if it was a team like Miami, Detroit, or Dallas

Rip.
Marbury is older an is not a cosistent guy to count on. Rip is a guy yo can count on and he will allways bring he's to the table. By the way Marbury is a ball hog.

id go marbury. SGs are easy to find in the league but a good PG isnt. marbury is a more dynamic and explosive scorer than rip and rip cant hit consistent 3s. basically the only thing rip does is shoot. marbury does more.
