I had the same problem for a while and I found that clearing out the extra saved games- maybe some characters that you created a while ago and dont really use anymore- DELETE THEM. Each time your computer loads they read thru everything you've ever created.

Good luck!

I love sims too!!

PS) check out the playboy mansion game- same kind of building features and has a really good business spin to it.

In the install guide or the game instructions it will tell you to shut off all of you background tasks except for 2 before you start the game. This really helped a lot for me before I upgraded my computer. If you can afford it get a new video card or a new pc and that will solve the problem completely.

I have this problem as well. I don't even have my Sims go to different lots because it just takes way too long to load.

Honestly, the only thing I can think of is to get a faster processor and a better video card. That's my plan anyway.
