No. It doesn't get them back in power to do so.

Osama Bin Laden was captured? Really?
Or are just misinformed...
The war on terror is a very sketchy thing at best. Since 911, America has not been attacked, and Bush invaded somebody not responsible for 911. He's had four years in Iraq and can't keep a street safe. FDR took over three dozen countries in the same time span.
Perhaps if Republicans showed some actual competence, they'd get more praise.

Silent? What liberal has been silent on praise for our men and women in uniform? Has there been one liberal in public office that has declared our sons and daughters failed?
The civilian Secretary of Defense failed, the civilian Secretary of State failed, the civilian members of the CIA failed, but there has never been an accusation of a military member who failed to carry out the orders given them.
The republicans are so gung ho on a victory? Then let the men and women who know the game do their job.
As to capturing leaders of the enemy, the civilians said this would end the war. Seems there is still American blood being spilled in the streets of Baghdad.
Just another "setback"?

When credit is earned credit is given. Wasn't the mission to capture people like the Al Qaeda leader? Do you get praised every day for doing what you are paid to do? Only if you do a stellar job do you get justifiably rewarded. Get Osama Bin Laden and we party together.

Allegedly the head of an al-qaida inspired group was captured, not confirmed by the U.S. You sure did twist the facts to suit your rant.

Gee, now even CNN admits al Qaeda is in Iraq. But yet libs say we should get out of Iraq because terrorists aren't there. Go figure.
