I had pretty much the same thing and it hurt too! I tried every thing as well. Finally I look in my medical book and it talks about getting enough of the nutrients from your diet. Make sure that you are eating enough fruits and vegetables.
I did that and also used Vaseline 100 % Pure Petroleum Jelly on those areas. Make sure that you use it before you eat, since opening your mouth will cause it to open the area. Put some on before you go to bed at night. If you wake up during the night put some more on the areas. Don't allow the area to get dried out to be able to crack back open.
Try that and see if that doesn't help it to get better.
Good luck, I know it's painful. If that doesn't help you then go to your doctor.

Do you have sore skin anywhere else because it could be a form of eczema? If not then i would suggest it could be that you are deficient in some vitamins and mineraIs. It sounds like you may be developing angular cheilosis ( the posh name for what you are describing) It can be caused by a deficiency of vitamin B. Vitamin B is known as vitamin b complex because it is made up of 7 different types These can be found in the following foods:brewer's yeast, liver, whole-grain cereals, rice, nuts, milk, eggs, meats, fish, fruits, leafy green vegetables. The most important part of this vitamin complex for you would be the one called riboflavin which is responsible for skin and mucous membranes eg the mouth.Riboflavin is found in whole-grain products, milk, meat, eggs, cheese and peas. Start with taking a very healthy diet rich in these foods and if no improvement buy a 'B Complex' vitamin from your local pharmacy. Take it for a couple of months and see if this helps. If it doesn't, then add in zinc supplements and vitamin C. Hope to hear that you are smiling soon.

Drink lots of water & try Vaseline! Put a bunch on right before you go to bed & in the morning they should be better! Also during the day use a really good chapstick or vaseline & every time your lips feel a liitle dry put some more on! This is what I do every day & my lips are soft & moisturized! Just give it a try & I hope it helps you! Good Luck :)

I forgot what it's called, but I have the same problem. Apply some Carmex on the outside parts, heavy. After that add a layer of water on all parts of your lips to make them feel and look better. I guess some of these answers are better to get rid of chapped lips, but its to make you feel better.

It's caused by a deficiency in vitamin A. No amount of balm or moisturizer will help as you know because it will continue to crack open.
Heal it from the inside by taking a supplement or eating foods like sweet potatoes, carrots or kale.

I've had this problem a few times and I hate it! Because it stings when you eat and if you open it too much by laughing or eating... it splits open again and it wont heal. The only thing i did was put vasaline and tried not to lick the corners of my mouth. Just dont open it unless u have to then it will heal before you know it.

Nurtragena lip realever is PERFECT for you! It will sting for a while, but tastes really good and really helps your lips. I used it when my lips were SO chapped that I couldn't even smile - let alone talk! I hope it works for you, too!

I use neosporine when mine get like that. Do it at night when you are just sitting around, but wipe it off before you go to bed so you don't swallow if. It tastes really nasty if you lick it, so don't eat or drink any thing. after a while your lips will absorb what it need and you'll just be wiping away the excess.

i think the key to healing your lips is to use carmax or even try a moister enhancing chapstick to the corners of your lips everyday after everyday activities, such as brushing your teeth, eating breakfast, lunch,or dinner and before you go to bed. and once healed keep your lips moisterized daily to keep that chappedness from comming back and causing problems.
