u r right at the same time u r a bit wrong. its not only from 12-15 its from 12-19 that is what called as teenage.

They would have started out of curiousity or peer pressure [hopefully not as a result of a forced experience like rape/sexual assault or some other form of abuse].
Sex is supposed to be enjoyable. So once tried it is difficult to stop unless you are guided: religion, standards, your expectations etc. or are of a certain maturity - not necessarily age related maturity.
Hence the concern of adults.

Kids at age 12-15 want to have sex because they think it's fun and they want to be grown and think they showing out, but all they doing is losing their identity and self-confidence!!!

Because they think it is cool or because of peer pressure. They see it on tv and in the movies all the time plus they are teaching it in school at a much earlier age then when I was a kid.

I really think its the Hormones that kick in when you move to Adulthood, and ofcourse to compliment the physical changes , there are movies ,books and internet and once someone tries sex, one would want more.. we all agree to that. dont we?

I don't know! becuz they are immature and think they know what they are doing maybe. That is on my mind alotttt lately! My son is almost 14 and it scares me to death! along w/the drugs and tobacco thing. Worry-worry-worry,thats all us parents can do. No wonder my hair is getting grey faster!

I lost my virginity at age 14 with a beautiful wonderful tender
caring intelligent woman of 34...A great 3 month summer affair.
I am now 47 and still have fond memories of her....
