why is it that a lot of winners or finalists so ungrateful of the show when they hit it big and get a lot of success? it seems like the only grateful ppl are fantasia, clay, and especially carrie (my god, i think she dragged on talking about idol in her post-grammy interview).

i think a lot of them are bitter over the contracts they've signed.

What a great question! I totally agree. Granted they may not be happy with their contracts, but NONE of them (the winners) would be famous without Idol. And more importantly without the fans who buy their CD's after the show is over. I think they should thank Idol and its fans every chance they get. The only one I've ever heard be grateful was Carrie Underwood at the Grammys. Let's keep in mind where our bread is buttered people.

Fantasia is a freak and Clay isnt that great . Carrie is ... Well I wont go there . The only true Idol was Kelly Clarkson !

because their ego gets to them. look at jennifer hudson, i thought she was great until she started talking crap about idol. she's all saying idol was just a small part of her life and she would have gotten famous anyways. She's a *****.
