How come it is WAY more common for men to hit on and try to get w/ young girls and boys, and not woman?

I don't mean to hate on my fellow guys, but come on fellas, you have to admit (even if we don't do it ourselves/ I certainly don't because I am only 20), but how come there are more incidences of older men hitting on younger woman, little girls, and little boys, and barely any older woman hitting on younger boys, little boys, and little girls. To be honest, I have never even heard of an incident in which an older woman tried to hit on a little boy, thank goodness. I sometimes but rarely hear of older woman with younger men like 30 or 40 years apart. Older woman aren't drooling at younger men like you see old men doing. What's the deal? Why is this a drastic difference in the gender or is it simply the people from 40s and 50s are this way and as time goes on things will change. Is it that the majority woman from the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s are decent and the majority of men from those times are pigs. Woman don't even seem to desire younger men and women the way a lot of older dudes do.

Seriously, what is up with older men? And please don't say anything stupid like 'you're generalizing' you know I don't mean everyone so please don't use that stupid comment and please don't say anything offensive, homophobic, rude, or insulting. And girls please do not get conceited. Just behave yourselves!

Well, lets see here! You are certainly right about the child predator part being more prevalent in men, and that can be caused by phisiological, as well as psychological abberrations.

I think men just APPEAR more frequently to fancy younger women in the adult sexual attraction scheme of things. And it has, from the view of many societies, been more accepted for older men to go with younger women.

Now, however, if you pay close attention, you will see that the incidence of older women going with younger men is way more prevalent than it used to be. It has become way less of a taboo in many areas.

I think the reasons are fairly obvious (speaking personally) for either sex. Hormones, a biological aspect of our natures, play a very large part. Younger people give off more, which attract both those within and without their "normal" sphere.

One can't deny that although a younger person MAY not have the life experience and developed intellect of an older one, nevertheleless, in Nature's scheme, hormones do play an enormous role in who finds who attractive.

It is not only society's expectations that are in control of our behaviour. Men have always had the charge of finding a suitable partner before, they (on the whole, I am just saying) have always been the go-er-afters. More and more women, seeing this as unequitable, and seeing younger men as attractive (speaking from personal experience) feel freer to exercise their preferences more openly.

That's what I think, anyway!

i think blokes go for younger girls because there easyer to dominate and imagine if i was going out with a 14 year old girl that would make me a very bad man and i am not but i am 18 i am financially doing alright and I'm not that bad lookin shes not exactly going to cheat on me with a guy her own age because in her eyes i am in a good situation but to girls my age 18 well how many blokes have loads of cash and ain't that bad lookin basically its because younger girls are easyer to inpress .you could buy them loads of presents and stuff and a lad her own age probly could do that and we have cars and stuff and for some reason that means quite a lot to quite a lot of women show independents i guess o and i wish older women would get with younger men this woman i met through work once so hot really pritty propa nice smile funny but she was like 28 i didnt have a chance its tight mate

Good question -- but I think its more likely for a man to seek younger people than women because and this is purely specualtion simply have a motherly look at the young than most men -- they think of them as what they are vulnerable, need of protection, or reminds them of their own kids or the children they will have and don't look at the young people as an adult in sexual ways. But there are plenty of women however that take advantage of young people in different ways that are pretty awful as well.

Okay. I think it is generally because the young are more easily taken advantage of and are out there running loose. The young have less experience and don't watch the news. They are simply inexperienced and easier. Less wary of strangers and more attractive too.

Young girls who want older men have Daddy problems. Ask any Hooker!!

it's all about gender attraction, male concentrate more on the female body features, so as soon a girl starts to develope their hourglass body shape, we already are attracted to them.

but women are more attracted to a man state of mind, a grown up, selfconvident, adult state of mind, wich can not be find in young boy's or teens.

that's why also young girls are more attracted to older boy's.

Research suggests that men are attracted to the opposite sex primarily on looks first, and women are primarily attracted to the opposite sex on the potential to be stable and a good provider. This also applies to career women.
